Further to Ryan and Amy's Batonbearer nomination earlier this year, we were delighted to be announce that we were selected as a Batonbearer's for Balsall Common on Tuesday 26 July 2022. The Queen’s Baton Relay, in the West Midlands.
Ryan and Amy said....
"It was a huge honour and privilege to carry the Queens Baton in the #QueensBatonRelay today in Balsall Common in memory of Lily and all the other babies gone too soon! To be able to share this once in a lifetime opportunity with our children will stay with us for the rest of our lives!
We would like to thank those people who nominated us; Fiona Holland, Nic Hammett, Geoff Heaps and Liz Hopkins from Solihull Council who helped to give us this amazing experience! We cannot thank you enough
We have always maintained that we do not do what we do for rewards, however it is very humbling to be recognised by so many people for the important work that we and our team of staff and volunteers do for bereaved parents and their families following the loss of a baby."
