We have put together 5 different ways that your business or organisation/workplace can support us as a Charity this year. Corporate support is vitally important to us as a Local Charity in supporting our work with bereaved parents and families who have lost a baby to Stillbirth, Neonatal Death, Miscarriage or to a Medical Termination.
Some of the ideas below can help your business or organisation grow and show your support for the local community and its good causes.
Sponsor one of our events
We hold two very successful and well known fundraising events each year to raise the funds needed to enable us to continue to support bereaved parents and families living locally. Our Golf Day and Dinner Dance is held at the Belfry in April and our Local Community Fun Run is held in Balsall Common in September. We have multiple opportunities for businesses and organisations to sponsor these events, with a variety of different bundles to suit all.
Not only does sponsoring our events enable us to raise the funds necessary to support bereaved parents and families but it is also provides a fantastic opportunity for exposure for your business through advertising at our events and across our digital and social media platforms. Volunteer! Solo or as a team
As we are a Local Charity we really appreciate any volunteers that you are able to offer! Whether that is just for an hour, or a day at our events your time is incredibly valuable to us.
We have many ways that you can volunteer for the Lily Mae Foundation. Why not join us at our Fun Run? You and your team could get stuck in and help make our day a real fundraising success!
Or you could offer your time at external company events that support the Foundation, like the local Wolf Runs. You could join us at our offices to make up some Memory Boxes and Sibling Packs that we donate to our partner hospitals to be given to bereaved families. Finally, perhaps you have a specific skill that would benefit The Foundation. You could volunteer a few hours a week / month to help and support us.
Hold your own charity event
Are you holding an office party? Hosting a cake sale? Running a dress down day at work? Why not dedicate these types of events in support of The Lily Mae Foundation? Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to fundraise for us but very often this type of support can really help raise awareness of our work and offer our support to more bereaved parents and families that may need us but do not know that we exist. We can provide you with a variety of marketing materials to support your event and even show our faces on the day if our diaries match up!
Fundraising
There are so many different ways you can fundraise as a business or organisation within the workplace. We love to encourage businesses to fundraise for us by taking part in one of our events as a ‘team’, perhaps at our Fun Run, our Golf Day, climbing Snowdon at sunrise, running in the London Landmarks Half Marathon or even skydiving. We will support you across our social media throughout and would love to create any cross promotional content for you with your brand.
Make us your Charity of the Year
Does your business or organisation/workplace have a Charity of the Year that they support? You could put the Lily Mae Foundation forward for this. We would love to work with you and offer our you our support in return. We can visit you, offer social media support, website updates and provide you with marketing materials that you may need throughout this time.
